Shipping and Returns
Mukilteo Chocolate Company will package your order with detail and care. Please ensure you have chosen an appropriate shipping method to prevent melting during transit. Generally when the temperatures are above 70ºF it is recommended you opt for earliest overnight delivery if your delivery destination is not located in Washington state.
Mukilteo Chocolate Co. will make every attempt to ensure the service and delivery of your ordered product or package is of the same high quality as it left the store; however, due to the nature of our products we cannot normally offer a refund, nor can we ever accept returns.
Mukilteo Chocolate Co. is not responsible if an incorrect address is given to us for shipping. If the incorrect address is given to us for a particular shipment and the shipment is re-routed by the courier for delivery, we will notify you if there are additional charges for each shipment that is re-routed. Mukilteo Chocolate Co. is not responsible if the wrong delivery address is given and the package is delivered to the wrong and/or unknown recipient. Mukilteo Chocolate Co. uses the U. S. Postal Service for most deliveries, but will work with you to ship with whichever shipping agency you prefer. Mukilteo Chocolate Co. cannot be held responsible if the shipping agency delivers an order to the wrong address. We will always do our best to rectify any problem that should ever arise.
Most orders are processed within 1-3 business days of receiving an order and/or funds transfer. Mukilteo Chocolate Co. will make every attempt to process your order as quickly as possible but due to factors outside of our control such as weather or shipping agency we are not responsible if your order does not arrive at the requested destination by a designated or requested date or time.
If your shipment is damaged due to handling during transit, please contact us as soon as you receive the shipment so that we can contact the shipping agency to initiate a claim: email@example.com or (425) 353-1183.
Mukilteo Chocolate Co. will package your order with attention to detail and care making every attempt to prevent damage. However, Mukilteo Chocolate Co. is not responsible for melted or destroyed chocolate. An appropriate shipping method is recommended to help prevent against melting when ambient temperatures in Washington, the destination location, or ground transit states are above 70ºF. It is recommended to send packages the most expeditious method possible during warm weather to ensure safe delivery.
Shipments are delivered Monday through Saturday, except legal holidays. Signature confirmation and expedited delivery are available for an extra charge; please call (425) 353-1183 to make arrangements. Shipments returned due to an incorrect shipping address will require an additional charge for reshipment. Shipping charges will not be refunded for late deliveries if delivering to a business and the business is closed or not available to receive the package when delivered. When shipping to a hotel or hospital, please verify discharge/checkout times and make necessary arrangements with the delivery location to ensure delivery to recipient's room. Mukilteo Chocolate Co. is not responsible for packages misdirected after delivery.
Every effort will be made to meet arrival dates; however, orders may arrive early or late and cannot be guaranteed to arrive on exact dates.
We also offer overnight shipping and local pick-up options as well. Local pick-up option is available for those who happen to be near Mukilteo, WA. We would love to have you stop by to say hello and sample our chocolates and fudge!
